      Hey 08mhook,
When planning my experiments i will conduct Market Research to gain a idea of what consumers want to buy and eat, once in development i will hold taste panels, which uses sensory testing which records the persons movements and thoughts while they eat the food. Its all fed into a computer and makes me some nice pretty graphs which shows me where i need to make changes to a recipe or replace certain ingrediants. Each part of my experiments rely on on reliability of the participants and accuracy of the answers they give.
