• Question: How many new stars do you find a week?

      I think I answered a similar question to this before here: http://ias.im/44.98 but the short answer is that some weeks I find some and some weeks I don’t. This is because it is tough to find them (and I do other things too, like try to fix telescopes, do things like I’m A Scientist, and detailed studies of the pulsars I’ve already found). The stars I’m looking for are not easy to find and I have to think of clever ways of identifying, which is most of the fun, especially when it works! 😉
