• Question: how hard is I'm a scientist get me out of here?

      Some of the questions have been really good and they certainly make me think and do a bit of research 🙂

      I am also doing my normal job at the same time, so I’ve spent a lot of time making sure my experiments, meetings and presentations I have to give don’t clash too much with any of the live chats and that I have enough time to answer questions. I’ve stopped having lunch with my lab mates so answer questions (eating lunch at my desk now), but my colleagues love hearing about all the questions I have been asked.

      Basically I’m having to work twice as hard during the time of I’m a Scientist, but I’m enjoying taking part and think it’s a great thing to do, so I don’t mind.
