      Hi Shannanan
I havent been into a school and worked with children before.
I have however worked with people at sixth form college and university level.

I’d love the chance to come and chat to you all about food though, and show you some super experiments with food! – What kind of things do you want to learn about food?

I have been into schools before and helped out in science classes.

It was amazing and I really enjoyed it. I got asked a lot of questions (although no where near as many as on I’m a Scientist!). It’s something I would like to do more of and that’s why if I win I will spend some of the winnings on visiting some of the schools taking part in Iron Zone.

I’ve also helped run a science stall in the middle of Oxford for Oxford Science Week. It was a stall where children (and adults!) could come and write questions on a wall and all the scientists there would try and answer them – again a lot of fun.

Nope, I’ve never worked in a school. Not since I was studying in one, that is!

I have not been to schools yet. Maybe your school will be my first one to visit!! 😀

But I have worked with school kids during science events, like earlier this year I was at a Stargazing Live event at the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester and there were loads of kids there. And I think everyone went home happy after a day of astronomy! 😀
