  I think we are much more likely to destroy ourselves with nuclear weapons than any of the other possibilities. We have enough nuclear weapons on Earth to kill everyone EVERYONE several times! Isn’t that crazy? It’s just a terrible idea to have them. They could be used by accident even – then we’d be gone. Or if some crazy people got hold of them. The Sun won’t destroy the Earth for more than 4 billion years, so I think we would be doing well to survive that long. But hopefully we can be a bit more sensible, focus on developing peaceful technology. That way we could explore the Galaxy, and by the time the Sun destroys the Earth we’ll be happily on another planet somewhere. Well, eh … not us, we’ll be dead but our great great great great … grandchildren – you know what I mean. 😛
