People don’t often get to see the interesting effects of electricity: they mostly just know about it as a plug in the wall to charge their phone. Sparks and static electricity don’t often get shown off because they can be dangerous! I want to show students fun, safe experiments that can be done with high voltage sparks. I already regularly show off a van de Graff generator but am on the look-out for other demos. I think an electrical pipe organ will be a musical, exciting way of demonstrating electricity!
