      Hi Rainbowpoppy.

Have you ever seen Star Trek? There have been LOADS of Star Trek films and TV shows. It’s a sci-fi program about people exploring the universe. To get to different stars would take a VERY long time with rocket ships we have today, so in sci-fi they often cheat by going faster than the speed of light (nature’s ‘speed limit’!). Star Trek’s way of going faster than light is to use a ‘Warp Drive’. It’s like the motor engine in your car, but much cleverer. No-one has invented a Warp Drive yet – it only exists in TV and movies. I’d love to invent one for real, though!
