• Question: what is your favourite thing about science e.g. practical or theory?

      People quite often ask this, and I actually feel I don’t belong to either ‘practical’ or ‘theory’. I really like working on Statistics, and clever ways of making sense of the work that practical people have done, so I guess I’m more of a theorist, but I’m not a ‘pure’ theorist, I like to work with data.

      I guess I’d call myself a practical theorist 😀
