Question: hi, geeky physics guy, do you think art can be applied to science?

Oh man, I’d forgotten I’d put that on my profile! How embarrassing :p
I think the difference between art and science isn’t as big as people think. I have to be creative in my approach to a problem, and when I present the results, I have to make them attractive to look at.
Artists have to use some scientific thinking too, to make sure their sculptures stand up or their paints look like they want.

Just to chip in, I design stuff all the time and – as well as making sure it does the job it’s meant to – I try to make it look great as well using my Art and Graphic Design GCSEs from school and college! See photos on my profile 😉

I love science and art. I think they are related because you have to be creative for both of them
