I’m glad I managed to convince you that curiosity is key to science 😀 Seriously: if you don’t know why something is the way it is, ask people and do little experiments for yourself!

For example, I was just answering someone else’s question about blood types and found out that Landsteiner (the man who discovered them) wanted to know WHY blood gets clumpy if you mix two people’s blood together. So he did a quick experiment taking several people’s blood and mixing them up in a logical system. That’s how he discovered different blood types (A, B & O) and he got a Nobel Prize for it! All it took was for him to ask “why?” and it revolutionised medicine! Maybe one day you can discover something groundbreaking, too
