You’re not rubbish at science. I bet at some time in your life you’ve played with magnets and wondered why they push and pull apart. I bet you’ve watched a flame burning and wondered why it’s that shape. I bet you’ve asked why the sky is blue. I bet you’ve wondered why birds can fly but not you.

All of these “why?” questions make you a scientist and the more you try to find the answers, the better a scientist you’ll be! Don’t give up!

I’m not sure that every single child has the potential to become a scientist, but I also definitely think that being good at science in school doesn’t mean you’re not good at science, all you really need is a good imagination and a lot of curiosity.

Yes, definitely. Children are curious. That is what drives science. Then you just need to move in the right direction by studying the math, the science, doing the labs. If you take it one step at a time, it is not that intimidating any more. Yes, you can be a scientist!
