      The HPV vaccine is a type of recombinant vaccine. This means it uses virus like particles (that LOOK like the human papilloma virus) to show our immune system what the virus would look like, so we can have an immune response to it if we ever get it. Yeast are used to make the particles. This is a safe way to vaccinate people as it doesn’t contain any nasty things.
