• Question: how likely is it for a 12 yr old girlto get breast cancer

      Hello!

      It is very very unlikely, with only 0.1% of breast cancer happening to children.
      The youngest case ever was a 10 year old girl in the USA.
      Breast cancer in children is also normally not as nasty as breast cancer in adults.

      If you are worried about anything though, it is always best to see your doctor just in case!

    Yes, it is very ver rare for children to get breast cancer. Men are more likely than children to develop this disease. People tend to forget that men can get it, but about 400 men every year in the UK will develop it, mostly when they are aged over 60.
