      Hey,

So for GCSEs I had quite a range of maths, sciences and dance. For AS level I did Biology, chemistry maths and psychology. For A levels I dropped psychology and carried on with the other three.
For my degree I did Chemsitry with forensic investigation. This is essentially a chemistry degree with a module in forensics which optional for those just on the chemistry degree was mandatory for me. I was advised by someone in forensics before my degree to choose a degree in a core science, ideally chemistry, as you get a more depth understanding and chemistry can apply to a lot of different areas if you change your mind in the future, it is good for maths, biology and some physics. I was advised companies preferred a core science degree over a pure forensic degree but I cannot confirm if this is true but I have found it easier in my career.
I think the school system and layout has changed but hopefully that helps 🙂
