• Question: What’s the longest you’ve took to repair a bridge?

      It really does depend on what needs fixing.

      Simple repairs like replacing fencing or signs can be take days to complete .

      More complicated repairs like repairing concrete, repainting or replacing bearings can take months or sometimes years.

      It also depends on how big the bridge is and whether it crosses over a river, railway or road.

      Often repair works need to be undertaken during the night or weekends when less people are using the road/railway which adds to the length of time required to do the repairs.

      I’ve worked on projects that take just a couple of months to projects that are ongoing for a couple of years.
