      For me, it’s that we cannot accurately predict long-term future even if we spent all the resources in the world trying. This is one consequences of chaos theory – look it up 🙂

      Great question Kira!
      I don’t know if this is the most interesting science fact – but to me it’s one of the most interesting ecology facts – the European nightjar (a bird!) has one toe on its foot which has evolved into a comb! It uses its comb-claw to brush tiny fleas and mites out of its feathers to help keep itself clean and also uses it to brush its facial whiskers! 🙂

      Sorry for getting back to you late. I was down with flu for a couple of weeks.

      One of the fascinating science fact is that the average distance between the earth and sun is roughly 400 times larger than the average distance between earth and moon. Now, the diameter of the sun is roughly 400 times the diameter of the moon.

      This is why moon can completely cover the sun when aligned in line and this causes solar eclipse.
