• Question: Have you ever experienced any extreme problems in your research?

      Hi Sania,

      Sorry for being late in responding. I was down with flu.

      I have not encountered any extreme problems in the research, but some real life situations led me to change my research projects or directions.

      Like, when my father passed away, I had to change my lab and move closer to my family.

      No regrets though, it gave me new challenges and new things to learn.

    When raw material was not available to continue the research due to war reasons (Ukraine production).

    Yes, when I couldn’t get training on a specific technique which was crucial to my project. The people who were experienced in that skill had left the Lab before I started and the only other option was to travel abroad which was very expensive.
    In the end I had to read up a lot on that technique from various books and journals.
