Thank you for resubmitting this question so I can answer you properly! I would personally recommend documentaries for science-based TV. Anything with David Attenborough is always very interesting. I recently watched a series called “Ancient Apocalypse”, this was interesting as it was presented by someone who is not a scientist but is interested in science subjects. There was also a documentary called “Fantastic Fungi” if you want something a bit different. Enjoy!
The BBC does a programme called Horizon which is science and technology based. They have programmes on iplayer you can watch on everything from telescopes to medicines and microchips. The BBC also makes programmes with the Open University that are STEM based, again covering lots of subjects https://connect.open.ac.uk. There are also some great science communicators that you could search for. I really like Hannah Fry and Brian Cox who have both done lots of programmes you could watch.
There were some fun science based competition shows for kids around 2010, Blast Lab and Brainiac, but not sure about now. BBC bite size is always a good starting place
