      Hi there!

      Let me share my career & life adventure with you. In Brazil I received my diploma in Veterinary science. Even though I have always loved animals, after graduating I started working in the meat industry as part of the Research & Development team. After several years working within the field of R&D, I knew I wanted to specialize into this area, so I decided to move to Barcelona for a master’s in chemistry and food engineering. Once I received my diploma, I was offered a position in the Netherlands where I’m currently working at JDE Peet’s and I’ve been absorbing the wonderful and different world of the Dutch culture ever since.

    • My Typical Day:

      Being awake early in the morning by 2 little kids, run the have them ready to school, eat breakfast with a nice cup of coffee, run to work, be in lots of meetings, do research and development in the lab and pilot plant, work on presentations, convince people with a nice presentation skills and knowledge (at least this is the aim 😉 ) , present results and hope that things will go smooth. Go home, pick up kids from school, have a nice meal with all family, enjoy time with family and have my me time with sports, movies, books or nice time with friends.

    • What I'd do with the prize money:

      Travel to a Country which I can do a face to face engagement with young generations and give them opportunity to ask all, a platform to embrace, support and hopefully by this I can inspire and bring positivism to the wonders of STEM.
