All sorts of different reasons, some of them are for communicating between themselves like we do (“hey guys there’s food over here!”), some are warnings (“come any closer and I’ll attack you”) some are cries for help (“I’m in pain”) others are mating calls (“are there any lovely lady bluebirds out there looking to meet a bluebird with a wonderful singing voice and have lots of chicks?”)

The reasons are as varied as the sounds really!
