Space! i loved looking at those amazing pictures of the universe and i never got over how big everything is out and what a small part we are here on earth… it still boggles my mind!

Plus the complete weirdness of quantum physics was just brilliant – especially when you realise that actually we just can’t understand it but have to trust the maths because it works and at every possible stage has been proved correct!

      Christina has stolen my answer!

I loved everything about space when I was little and read about it constantly. Then when I got older I started to become fascinated by particle physics too. It’s amazing how much different the world of the very small is, and how little it makes any sense, but again as Christina says it works! We’ve shown time after time that particles really do behave in ways that seem to defy logic.
