• Question: If there was an earthquake on another planet, would it still be called an EARTHquake?

      I guess it depends on what the earth in earthquake stands for!

      If it’s “Earth” as in “our planet” then i guess an earthquake on mars would be called a “Marsquake”… but if it’s “earth” as in the “ground under our feet” then i think it would be an earthquake whatever the planet!

      By the way some types of really dense stars (neutron stars) can have earthquakes too and they’re called starquakes!
