  There’s so much more to discover about the immune system and now we know it’s important in all sorts of diseases (heart attacks, strokes, cancer). Therefore there are lots of opportunities to treat lots of diseases by modifying the immune system!

  I find fascinating how the body has developed a system that protects everything else. The way immune cells communicate with each other and organise themselves to fight microbes and prevent cancer is quite amazing.
