• Question: What is the thing that you like less about science and why?

      To carry on with their research, scientists regularly have to apply to get money, either from charities or from the government. This can be time consuming and hard work, and it can also be discouraging if we are unsuccessful. I would say this is the least enjoyable thing about science.

      I would say unsociable hours can sometimes be hard work. Cells don’t know its a bank holiday and you don’t want to come to work. But they need feeding so you have to go in and take care of them. If not they will die and you will have to start your experiment all over again
