      If we can’t fight an infection with our immune system, then we would succumb to the disease infecting us. This can happen in people with AIDS who have a weak or depleted immune system. However we do have medicines that can help protect from some viruses and have things like vaccines, which prevent us getting viral diseases

      I’m afraid if that happens, we would probably die! Antibiotics have really helped us as well, as they help our immune system out by killing bacteria
