• Question: Is artificial life, and cloning possible as a success?

      Yes – we can do this already! In 2010, scientists in the USA manage to make an organism’s entire DNA in the lab. A few years later, they took an empty cell with no DNA, inserted the DNA that they’d made and the cell started to grow! It was just a tiny microbe but you have to start somewhere.

      I think synthetic/artificial life will be widespread within the next 100 years.
