• Question: In which aspects should you be good for being a scientist? (Except science)

      I think you need to have attention to detail (including making good notes!). Also, having a really thick skin and not giving up easily. Patience (but I’m not always patient), and have a natually inquisitive mind helps. Honesty and integrity are also important.
      Remember scientists are by no means perfect and will have varying amounts of the things I’ve mentioned above!

      I agree with Ben. Being curious and open-minded are also really important. You need to keep asking why and how things work. You can learn something from everyone, and nobody has all the answers.
      Often, the most interesting scientists to me seem to be those who ask the best questions, rather than those who know the most.

      patience and perseverance. You have to also be a self-starter and motivated and have initiative. You often have long timelines and none telling you what you have to do, so you have to make it happen yourself.
