My mother has it so is most likely hereditary but there are a number of environmental factors which can also attribute to the disease. I take immune suppressing drugs to prevent my own immune system attacking itself. I try to help the process by eating well, as foods can be anti-inflammatory as well and also exercise

I am luckily very healthy, as far as I am aware. I try and eat well and do a lot of outdoor exercise. I have a lot of heart disease in my family so try to counteract the potential that I might develop it when I am older too.
