• Question: Why did you decide not to become an oncologist?

      Hi Jessie,

      Thanks for the question. I was really enjoying the research I was doing as an undergraduate, and less enjoying the thought of going to medical school (in the USA this is another 5+ years) so I stuck with research instead. I may head into cancer research some day- but for now, I’m sticking with bacteria and viruses and smaller things.
