      Hi Victoria,

      I use a lot of different devices and machines. Try googling images of the following to learn more:

      polymerase chain reaction cycler
      flow cytometer
      real time pcr machine
      fluorescent microscope
      cell homogenizer
      sonicating water bath
      mass spectrometer QQQ

      Those are just a few! It is one of my favorite things to ‘master’ a new machine and feel confident to use it for my research and also train students to use new equipment! Science labs are full of interesting things and people. You should try to visit a laboratory at some point and see in person!
