Genetics is the study of how DNA is passed from one generation to the other. How the DNA code works and how it makes us human, or a mouse or a snail.

DNA comprises of four chemicals that we shorten to the letters A C G and T. In every human cell (apart from red blood cells) we have a DNA molecule that is 3.2 billion base pairs long.
