• Question: Is there any bacteria or infection which can't be destroyed by the immune system?

      Yes, HIV is one example as it attacks the immune system to stop it functioning. Other things like the chicken pox virus can sit around and be harmless and then sometimes it causes another condition called shingles that can come at any time because there is still a small amount of the virus there.
