Question: In the live chat you told you went to the UK from Spain because you thought that you will have more chances of being a scientist. Do you think your live has improved since you went to the UK and why? Is there a notable difference between Spain and England?

  Thank you for your question! I think I made the right decision in coming to the UK for my PhD. Being here is a great opportunity and I think the way science is done in this country is very productive. Also there are more economic resources for scientists and a lot of projects are funded by charities, which as far as I know, doesn’t happen in Spain. Also, living in another country is a great experience that makes you more independent and resourful, not only as a scientist.
