• Question: How long did it take you to find cures for the immune system?

      We still haven’t found a cure for the diseases that are caused by the immune system. The disease I am working on (Crohn’s disease) is caused by the immune system targeting what is thought to be “good bacteria” in the stomach. We are still looking at potential cures and I have about 18 months left of my PhD to find a treatment so hopefully soon we will!

      Hi!
      I haven’t found a cure for a disease or cure for the immune system, but I have designed some novel vaccine candidates that show good protection in our protections studies. The hope is that some day our vaccine could be approved and used worldwide. It may take a long time though!
