      Lots:
      Mostly when you have done an experiment that has taken two weeks to set up and run and process and at the final step you do something really stupid and ruin it!

      Definitely – it is usually when I am rushing to get a lot of things done at once, thinking I am being a great multi-tasker, then something goes dramatically wrong, or is spilled, or the machine you have to use is broken. That is just the way it goes! As a scientist you have to stay optimistic.
