      Some people consider virus as a living being, others do not. It depends if in the definition of living being you include being able to reproduce by themselves. Virus are not able to reproduce without a host.
      If you don’t include virus as a living being, then there are no living beings without cells. Cheers Pablito!

      I agree with Laura viruses are a bit of tricky one, but no we do need cells to function, but unicellular organisms so they don’t have CELLS just one cell are about as basic as you can get before viruses!
