      Through your genes- your parents will have two genes which dictate the colour of their eyes, and you’ll inherit one of these genes from each parent. Your eye colour will depend on whether the genes you get are ‘recessive’ or ‘dominant’- a recessive gene is always overpowered by a dominant one.
