• Question: can an asteroid hit the earth ?

      It could! However, there are a bunch of people tracking asteroids that are near Earth, so we would know well in advance if one was on a collision course with us and could hopefully stop it. The earlier we know about it, the easier it is to slow it down- we just have to nudge it off of its path.
