Question: What happens if we don't sleep for a long period of time?

Chronic sleep deprivation is grim. It can lead to all sorts of physical symptoms (aside from feeling sleepy) including digestive problems, aching joints, headaches. It can also result in cognitive problems, affecting the way your brain works: poor memory, anxiety, problems in making decisions. Sleep is so important: make sure you get plenty!
