  Best never to say never in science, but I don’t think so. We don’t really understand what genetic characteristics make some people live longer than others and lifestyle is a huge factor. Ageing and cancers can be caused by environmental factors damaging DNA, and it’s very unlikely that there is a gene (or even a few genes) for immortality.
  
  Would you want to live forever?
