• Question: How long does the average hazel door mouse live for?

      In the wild they have been known to live for about 4 years, but when you consider they are asleep for almost half of that, it doesn’t seem very long at all. There was a captive Hazel Dormouse that lived for 6 years so I think on average 5 years!
