• Question: how big is your tail

      The tails are usually 5.7cm – 7.5cm (2.2 – 3.0 inches) long. My body is only 6cm – 9cm (2.4 – 3.3 inches) long so almost the same length! My tail may appear bigger though because it is so bushy.

      Catshark tails can be about half of their body size. They are long and slim animals. In an adult this could mean as long as half a metre!
