• Question: jacob what got you into astronomy?

      I read lots of books about how we have used astronomy to help us understand how the universe works and I thought it was really interesting. When I got to university I was able to choose some of my classes and so I opted for some astronomy/astrophysics courses and really enjoyed those too. In my final year, I was able to work on a project with an astronomer and I had a great time. From there, I knew I wanted to pursue astronomy for my PhD.
