      Hi maddyw,

I actually never even considered being a scientist! I actually wanted to be a pilot! I loved flying and my grandad was a pilot and he was my hero.
I only wanted to become a scientist about a year and a half ago when I finished my first degree in Physiology. I learnt more and more about how the human body worked and realised we actually no very little about ourselves as a species so I wanted to know more and how doing research on it could help future generations.
Don’t be afraid if you don’t know what you want to do when you grow up, I’m 25 and I don’t think I’m grown up! Just put your best effort into everything you do and you won’t go far wrong!

      Liam
