      I always find the next experiment the most exciting as its the next one to contribute a new piece of knowledge. You may have an idea on what the result could be but that may be completely wrong. The unknown can be very exciting!

      I found researching the prevalence of hepatitis E virus in Scottish blood donors pretty exciting. Research had been done in various countries but never in Scotland so it was quite exciting to know that my work would be used to compare with other countries.
