There are actually some companies that do this and cryopreservation of humans is called “cryonics” (sounds quite a cool name). The ones I know of are in America. However, even though a human can be frozen, there is currently no way of bringing them back to life. It also costs hundreds of thousands of $$$$$$. I guess people that do this are hoping that one day in the future there will be away to come back to life.

I have read of a few people having their head frozen. One case was a 23 year old woman with a rare form of brain cancer. She had her head frozen but I think her idea was more to donate her brain to scientists to do research for a cure for her type of brain cancer.
