• Question: How long does the sperm last for when its frozen?

      It lasts until it’s needed. Rubbish sounding answer, I know, but nature hasn’t set a limit for this. Legally, the maximum time sperm can be stored for is 55 years.

      The sperm quality doesn’t get worse the longer they are stored, but sperm don’t like changes in temperature so our problem is how many survive the freeze and thaw.
