• Question: Why do you have an employer?

      Well cause I’m still in “training” while doing my PhD… so my “boss” is there to guide me… make sure I do the right things… tell me when I make mistakes… etc… and they are the ones with the money… so they pay me!

      It’d be really hard to do research without one. Being part of a bigger organisation means I have access to more facilities and equipment (like microscopes and computers) that would be really expensive other wise. It’s also really helpful when you need help with anything as the people around you know all sorts!
