• Question: Do you only perform sergery on one tupe of mouse

      Well I only use one species of mice… Mus musculus… however I then use a specific strain of mouse… C57Bl/6 (it’s like how you get different breeds of dogs… so in a way different strains are like the differences between a poodle, labrador, etc… only less extreme).

      Although I use different “models”… meaning I have different colonies of mice that have different genetic mutations, but they’re all the same specie and strain.
