The types of surgical procedures I perform are terminal in nature, which means that they are performed under anaesthesia so the animal feels no pain and they do not wake up afterwards as I euthanise them to collect blood, tissue and organ samples once I’m done the experiment… this was I get lots of value from the animal’s life and it is not wasted!

I personally don’t do recoverable surgical procedures… but I know people who do… and the law is very specific about multiple operations… you need to have VERY good reason to do it repeatedly
